Grown in the highlands of Kayanza, Burundi, this coffee comes from the Rubagabaga Washing Station, named after the hill it sits on. Smallholder producers from surrounding communities deliver their freshly harvested cherries here, where they are carefully processed together in traditional wet mill systems.

The Kayanza region is known for producing some of Burundi’s most expressive coffees. Expect a vibrant cup with juicy fruit character, bright acidity, and layered sweetness. Coffees from this area have consistently impressed us since 2006 for their clarity and complexity.
