Yirgacheffe, often hailed as the birthplace of coffee, holds a rich history and charm. In this ancient land, local farmers lovingly tend to diverse coffee varieties in their small gardens, intertwining them with food crops to nourish the fertile soil. These farmers, with less than three hectares each, pour their hearts into cultivating their crops.

The coffee cherries they harvest are usually taken to centralized washing stations, where they undergo careful processing. This not only ensures quality but also unveils the unique flavors of Yirgacheffe that coffee enthusiasts worldwide adore.
